Why will my music need to be -3db?

A dB is basically how loud the sound is. -3dB is desired because it prepares the song for audio mastering by giving the song enough space to get even louder.

Ducking temporarily lowers, or “ducks,” the volume level of an audio signal anytime a second specified audio signal is present. Vocals can be temporarily ducked underneath an instrument that may be conflicting with its clarity.

What is Side Chaining?

Side Chaining is an interaction between a signal processor and an audio source. It allows instruments to cut through the mix at all times by lowering the volume of one signal when another's volume increases.

Delay, Reverb, and Chorus Effect alterations are not considered corrections and can always be removed or altered free of charge if at all possible.
